Golf, a career in the making

About Penny

I live with my parents in Auchterarder and can be seen practicing locally or performing my duties as a caddie at Gleneagles - when not competing.

My golfing journey began at the age of 8, being introduced to the game by my dad. For several years, I attended weekly junior lessons at a local club . Over time, I progressed to playing for my club at both Junior and Women’s level, as well as representing the U18 team and eventually the Ladies Team.

In 2019, I reached a milestone in my golfing career by being selected to represent Scotland in the European Ladies Team Championships and Home Internationals. Since then, I have proudly remained a member of the Women’s Squad, earning three additional International caps for Scotland.

A recent highlight in my golfing journey was attending LET Q school in Morocco this winter, where I earned status for the LETAS tour in the upcoming 2024 season. The continuous pursuit of refining my skills, coupled with a dedication to academic and athletic excellence, fuels my journey in the world of golf.
